We recommend that before you spend the substantial amount necessary to refinish your piano, you contact us to provide a thorough evaluation of the condition of all components and structures of your piano, along with estimates of work recommended. Most piano which need refinishing also need other service. When your piano is refinished, we hope that you consider upgrading the musical instrument also. About the Finishes The piano finish is one of the highest level furniture finishes. Most refinish work is done with nitrocellulose lacquer, the finish of preference in America since the 1920’s. Other finish materials are available, including high polish polyester, which typically costs more than lacquer but is becoming increasingly popular.
