Steinway “O” Grand #104016 Ebony with Past Restoration

This is a ca. 1900 Steinway O, the first Steinway with the elegant picture frame (Sheraton/Tiffany) legs and lyre.  Originally combined with the scroll music desk, the early “O” was uniquely elegant.  This piano received new hammers and strings about 25 years ago, and has an exquisite tone.  Its imperfections make a very affordable Steinway for the seeker of tone and value, as it can still provide many years of satisfying music without major restoration.
